Dr.Balasankar Interested in Research in Siddha Medicine for curing life challenging chronic systemic disease. Worked as siddha consultatn at Kidney Care Centre.Served as Lecture in Santhigiri Siddha Medical College and Hospital ,Thiruvanthanapuram. Currently Working as an Assistant Professor in Maria Siddha College and Hospital, Moovatumugam, Attoor, Kanyakumari Tamilnadu.

Having B.S.M.S Degree from Govt. Siddha College,Palayamkottai, M.D. in the area of  Pharamacology from Govt. Siddha College,Palayamkottai.Dr M.G.R Medical university and Ph.D research area was Medicinal Plants and their Uses in the Treatment of Kidney Ailments. Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, India.
