Dr.W.Lydia Jeris’s Commitment, resilience, patience brought her success not only in academic qualification but also in her professional Medical Career. She is dedicated to her medical research for the benefit of the community. She was born on 18 February 1988. She is a consulting pathologist in Q Lab in Tirunelveli and She serves as a Consultant Doctor in Mala Medical Centre, Tirunelveli. She is aill Topper both in High School and Higher Secondary school. She did her MBBS and M.D (Pathology) in PSG IMS & R. She secured First Rank in Post Graduate Diploma in Bio-ethics from Bharathiar University in 2016. She cleared Ethical and Regulatory Aspects of Clinical Research from National Institute of Health, USA in 2016.

Her core competencies are the inquisitive attitude and approach in application of mind for excellence. She applies the ethical practices and standards in all medical related callings. She is very talent to solve complex problems. She is a good orator.
She got first prize and cash award in Poster Competition held in May 2015 from PSG IMS & R, Co-sponsored by Medial council of India on CME and workshop in Hematology and Transfusion Medicine, in 2015. She presented a Poster on “Right Atrial Thrombosis in a young girl” in CME and Workshop in Hematology and Transfusion Medicine” from PSG IMS & R in 2015. She received a certificate of Appreciation for excellence work during CRRI –MBBS from PSG IMS & R. She got certificate of Merit for winning 2nd prize in Annual Pharmacology Quiz competition in 2007. She won 3rd prize in National level Quiz competition in Hematology and Transfusion Medicine held in CMC Vellore in 2016. She attended National level conferences organized by various institutes in Belaguvi, Calicut, Vellore. She underwent autopsy training KEM College, Mumbai and Neuropathology training in NIMHANS, Bangalore. She did a research project on “Epstein Barr virus expression and correlation with the immunohistochemical profile of Hodgkin lymphoma.”

She presented a poster on “Lost and found thymus – a rare presentation not so rare disease” in a CME held at Savitha Medical College, Chennai. She did a retrospective audit on adequacy of bone marrow aspirates and trephine in clinical laboratory from PSGIMS & R in 2015. She published on e-journal on “uncommon site of soft tissue tumor – a case report” in 2017.

She won Prizes both in Tennikoit School and college. She participated and received prizes in many Elocution and essay writing competitions at School, College and State level. She participated a course on value education in 2003 and created an awareness walk for Diabetes and Foot care in 2005. She attended various workshops on problem solving for Better Health in 2007 and on Human Resources development in 2010. She got UN information Test Certificate in 2002. She participated in Medical camps organized by Social Organization, Coimbatore. She delivered Medical lecture “as a part of development of civic responsibilities and social sensitiveness” from Appasamy college of Education, Coimbatore in 2014. She gave Guest lecturer in enlightening the importance of laboratory services conducted by Lal Path Diagnostics, Tirunelveli in 2018.
